Is it because I'm using the poor man's version of VS 2010 (Express) that I can't find a way to create a new project identical to my current project? My tried and true program to create new revisions of the current project has stopped working for some reason (The ver-rev control process it has used all along produces a copy of the entire project folder to a new folder and uses binary edit methods to change the revision number in a module called "module.rev" to the next revision number).
The new revision won't compile (the solution builder spins for a few seconds and comes up empty with a blank blue screen). I've had to back up to revision 130 to get one that compiles because Avast virus protection program alerted as "bad" file "AxInterop.MSWinsocklib.dll" and revision 131 would no longer compile after that. I found that "AxInterop.MSWinsocklib.dll" was indeed missing from the \obj\release folder (apparently Avast deleted it or "quarenteed" it). I copied another "AxInterop.MSWinsocklib.dll" file from a previous revision but rev 131 will still not compile.
So, back to my original question - I have to find a way to create a new project from my rev 130 project so I can continue development (and resume using my ver-rev control program).
Thanks -
