passing parametersto an exe from an exe and then receiving something back

I have two Windows Application exe's 095.exe and 105.exe. I am calling 105.exe from 095.exe with some Arguments. I would like to send the 095.exe back a string from the 105.exe. Is this possible; if so, what is the code I need to send it, and what is the code to retrieve it? Thank you.
