Visual Studio 2012 is stopping on exceptions, when ALL the settings tell it not to

Hello All,

I have project that I frequently need to debug. VS 2012 is repeatedly stopping on exceptions even though ALL the debug->Exception checkboxes are unset.   I suspect the Xaml engine is at fault, because of the text: "wasn't handled before a managed/native boundary". However I really want to ignore these exceptions at debug time - how can I do that?

I've attached  an image that shows my VS at the point when it has stopped on an exception. All I have done is press the "Open exception settings" link. You will see that

a) the check box "Break when this exception box is thrown is UNCHECKED"

b) ALL the check boxes in the exception settings box are UNCHECKED (all the way down the tree)

c) I have a catch (Exception ^e) handler in the code

So, why  is the debugger stopping on the exception? This seems to be happening foo many different types of exception and it's significantly slowing down by debugging process.

Thanks,

John
