Deleting a Visual Studio 2010 Project

Hi

I am running Visual Studio 2010 and want to know the best way to delete a project. I checked out the link:

however I never see the remove function from the edit window.

So at the moment I am just deleting whole project files via file explorer. Is this the best way?

Are there any files in the regedit that I need to delete.
