Hi, I'm trying to report a code generation bug in VS2010, and I'm a bit confused as to what the procedure is.
I simplified the example code down, and then clicked the "Report a bug" item in the help menu, and tried to report it at the web page it took me to (which was the connect.microsoft page). My report is here:
https://connect.microsoft.com/VisualStudio/feedback/details/809346/code-generation-bug-for-64-bit-vs2010
You will see that I was advised that I can't report bugs for VS2010 or earlier on this page, and I was directed to this page:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/vstudio/cc136615.aspx
The closest thing I could find to a bug reporting form on this page said that I might be charged for this service. This gave me the impression that I was looking in the wrong spot.
Can anyone point me at the correct way to file a bug?
Also, I am aware that this question has been answered in the past here:

However this answer doesn't appear to be true anymore.
