We develop add ons for SAP Business One. We reference their DLL in our VS projects but each version/patch that SAP puts out has a different DLL version that is not compatible with any older versions. We are struggling to recompile our project on different machines with different SAP versions that match our clients version. Is there no way we can develop against any version of the SAP DLL and at run time force our executable to use the DLL version that is installed/registered on the client's machine? Currently, our add ons won't run on the client machine if we compile it locally with a different version. It's really frustrating. There are no programming differences between the versions so there should be no reason we are forced to keep our references so specific when moving our application over to a client machine.
Any thoughts or ideas would be much appreciated.
