HI everyone! I am a newbie when it comes to visual studio and I am in need to create a website program for my work. I am no stranger to java or c# as I mostly work in unity 3d.
What I need is more direction for my program. Program is a need for my work as there are several people needing to access the information at anytime. I have played around with the codes for my idea, but what it is all coming down to is how to put it altogether.
I am using google authentication login and a drag and drop script for parts of my program. Now here is where I am having my problems.
1) Using the single page template, How do I change the overlook for all pages? I have a style I want to use, but I seem unable to change the style of the page.
2) I looked around for a login tutorial for the google authentication of files needed to start the from scratch, but only found the one for the single page template. Is there a way to design your own template using only the bare essential files to make a cleaner website program?
3) The program I need to make needs to be like a database of customers. I saw some tutorials online for some of this, just not the right area for me. By saying not the right area, I mean the customer will have their address, contact info and images of their property. How do I create a search, add, edit and delete database for customers with images?
4) This is about mapping properties and must be an online program meaning a website. There are several people at any given time using this program and on different devices like ipads, desktops, laptops and even smartphones. My question for this one is, How do I make it upload an image and save it to that customer? It also must all be done at a push of a button from the site and not something I would need to manually do in the code.
5) I am using the drag and drop script that works with all devices so far. How do I make a button clone an image at the push of the button and that image be draggable? What I am doing is everytime you press the button you can drag it to a place on the map and when released it ask you for a label and or a location picture. Basically if say I edit the map and save it, then later on one of my co workers can see what I did and even see it through a pic.
6) I put this idea into 2 categories. An existing customer and an editable customer. This may not be the right way, but it was what I thought would work. An existing customer is one that is stored in the database until it is needed to be viewed. An editable customer is an existing customer or a new customer in which changes are needed. My question is, How do I make it so the editable drag and drop gui(visible) and say contact info are only editable or visible when you press edit?
7) I need to make a tab system that shows 3 different images. Being a map, I need to show the vector, satelite and one image of both combined through lowering of the opacity. How would I make this work?
In closing, I am sure there will be some that say well you need the dev kit from apple and this and that for other stuff, you don't need to comment as I am well aware of what I need and don't. My questions are how to put them altogether and make them work. Some of these questions I asked are some things I just could not find on my own. As far as it working on all the devices, I have seen them work using just the website for customers, but not in this way. Problem I am having is, I have the A and D, now just need the B and C for the project.
If someone is willing to mentor me to finishing this project that would be great. I am not looking for someone to code the project for me, I just need a point in the right direction. I have until Feb 1st 2014 to have this done. Now right now all I need the program to do is google login, add, search, edit contact info, display maps and delete. The drag and drop part can come later.
