I have been assigned on a spur of the moment by our client to develop a prototype for a feasibility study with a requirement for a web application using HTML, Javascript, JQuery, and C# on a Windows 8.1 OS platform (doesn't want a WinApp dev). Instead he thinks this can be done on VS Express 2013 for Web as an initial feasibility study. I have been having trouble finding any information that would support a web development on Windows 8 , though we have done this sort of thing on Windows 7 without difficulty for them several times in the past. If development is approve it will need to be ported to straight VS 2013 for in depth dev. Does anyone, have experience or information to point me in the right direction to pull this off developing a web application on Windows 8.1 (configuration, IIS, or other alternatives)??
