Extract text or numbers from a hidden text box on say form2 and add that data to a text box on form1 by clicking on a button

Hi there,  I am using Visual Basic 2008 express and even though I have tried code snippets from other info on the forum, I cannot get the code to work.  I am skilled in micro controller programming, but this is my first attempt to interface between a pc and a microcontroller.  Any help out there would be appreciated
