I want to upgrade from VS 2012 to Vs2013.

Will this product allow me to upgrade from VS 2012 to VS 2013? Or is it a VS 2013 upgrade?
I wish they would say outright that you can upgrade from a previous version of VS. It's not clear and I don't want to waste $300.00.
