Visual Studio Development Server equivalent for VS2013

Hello everyone.

A while back I went through the steps of this demo using VS2012: http://www.dennisonpro.info/simple-multitenancy-with-asp-net-mvc-4/
If you go to "Figure 6: Updating the web project properties", you will see that the web app is setup using "Visual Studio Development Server". I developed everything step-by-step and got it working.

Yesterday, I tried re-developing this but now using VS2013. The feature "Visual Studio Development Server" has been discontinued for this version of VS.

ISSUES:

Now, if I run the app and type in "localhost:<port>" in my browser, it still works. But, when I type in any of the urls that should be working, I get an error:
http://site.com:<port>
http://tenant1.site.com:<port>
http://tenant2.site.com:<port>

Bad Request - Invalid Hostname

HTTP Error 400. The request hostname is invalid.

I've searched some other forums for help, but no luck so far. So, Since VS2013 no longer has the "Visual Studio Development Server" feature, what is it's equivalent? Or, how can I get rid of this error?

Thanks,
JB
