Hi all,
Good day and a first time poster here so I’m not really sure if I’m in the correct place to ask.
I’ve installed VS2013 Pro on a Windows 7 64bit Pro machine and the VS crashes every time we try to open it. It gives an error “the ‘Microsoft.VisualStudio.Services.UserNotificationsPackage’ did not load correctly.” And when we check the activity log it will show:
ERROR No InprocServer32 registered for package [MRU Package] %windir%\system32\mscoree.dll
ERROR No InprocServer32 registered for package [Microsoft.VisualStudio.Shell.Connected.UserInformation.UserInformationPackage] %windir%\SYSTEM32\MSCOREE.DLL.
No InprocServer32 registered for package Microsoft.VisualStudio.PlatformUI.SolutionNavigatorPackage] %windir%\SYSTEM32\MSCOREE.DLL
ERROR No InprocServer32 registered for package [Microsoft.VisualStudio.Shell.Connected.Packages.OnlineLicensing.OnlineLicensingManagerPackage] %windir%\SYSTEM32\MSCOREE.DLL
And several other and it’s mostly pointing to the mscoree.dll as the culprit. And when we check the system32 folder the mscoree.dll file is there. Anyone had the same issue or any suggestions? Thank you.
Best regards,
Chris
