I am trying to develop a new e-commerce site in VS 2012 (C# .Net) and I am using SQL Express Local DB (2010) as backend.
If I publish this site in Windows 2008 server, does my application be able to access the Local DB or we do need to install the SQL express externally in this server.
I can access the database in my development box as the entire VS 2012 package is installed in this machine, but is it possible that the same application can access the sql express local db (that is in the app_data folder) from a machine where we have only .Net framework is installed.
