Hello,
I had installed a Visual Studio extension for VS 2013 called Visual SVN. There was no way to uninstall the extension, so I deleted all of the files for it that I could find on my machine.
Now, each time I start Visual Studio and open a solution, I get an error message: "An exception has been encountered. This may be caused by an extension." I also get random exceptions in Visual Studio which I am quite sure are a result of the missing Visual SVN files. In addition, Visual SVN still appears in the "Options" tree view. However, it is not listed in the Options -> Environment -> Extensions and Updates area.
I am wondering how to completely remove all references to this extension. I assume it is something that needs to be done in the registry and/or a configuration file, but I am unsure how to do this.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thank you very much.
Matt
