I just went to update Visual Studio from the update notification and was about to start the update when it wanted me to close Visual Studio in order to start the update procedure. Required space 6GB+ was reported for the update so I'm expecting a fairly substantial download and I'm on a fairly slow internet connection. Wouldn't you think to perhaps allow the user to continue using Visual Studio while the download occurs and only force the user to close the program when it's actually ready to install the updates? It seems like a waste of the user's time for no apparent reason. Is there a way around this or not? *On a side note I'm writing this from within Visual Studio's web browser and I can't seem to type a carriage return, I don't know what's going on here.
