Install Certificate - How do I direct my application to use a certificate that I created. Please see info below

Using Visual Stuidio Makecert I created the certificate below to use in one of my application.
Question: Where is the store CUSTSTORE located and how do I get my application to use it?

C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 11.0>makecert -r -pe -a sha256 -n
  "CN=List Customer" -b 05/01/2014 -e 05/01/2030 -ss custstore
 Succeeded

Any information would be appreciated.  I sent a question to ClickOnce but I did not get any helpful information.
