The properties window in WPF prevents editing

Hi,

I am using VS2012 and VS2013, both with the latest updates installed.

I am encountering an issue with the WPF designer in Visual Studio 2012/13 where the Properties Window lock outs on me. In other words, I no longer can edit any property value field from that window. The available workarounds are:

1) Restart Visual Studio

2) Edit directly from the XAML.

3) kill the XDesProc.exe process

Microsoft has been ignoring this for a while now. Is there any plan in the future to address this issue.

It is not easy to reproduce because it happens unannounced. Meaning, there is not a specific action one can take to forcibly trigger this to happen. it just happens.
