I just downloaded a trial version of Visual Studios and have a question. For a few years now I have been working in Access developing applications for use in the office for myself and a few others. Now, there are more individuals who want access
to those applications. I have used the Access developer extensions and runtime solution to effectively deploy these products to other user's machines. However, it doesn't quite have the professional and polished effect I want. I wanted to
see if Visual Studios was a tool I could use to solve this problem. So here is my question. When using VS, do you still have to have a database solution somewhere else. For example, where are the tables with my data, where are my queries?
Do I still use the Access tables and queries and just use VS for forms and reports? I apologize for asking such basic questions, but I am trying to understand exactly what VS does and if it can help me with my problem before I purchase it. Thanks.
