Visual Studio is very slow. I type a few characters then wait a second or two, type a few characters and wait, etc. etc. It seems to be related to intellisense as typing a comment doesn't have this problem. Though scrolling can be slow as well.
I've tried turning off all add-ins and extensions and even running VS in safe mode. I've turned off the navigation bar. I've tried toggling the Visual Experience Automatically adjust visual exp...setting. I've tried resetting all my VS settings. I've defragged my HD, turned off source control integration, set my source code folder as an exception in my virus protection and windows defender, even turning virus protection and virus protection off, closed every program (even those running in the task/notification area that I could), made sure my windows updates were up to date, as well as other various tricks I've found searching the web for a solution. But I have no idea why my VS is soooo slow.
