Visual Studio 2008 still had a 2 pixel wide text cursor, as do other applications. With Visual Studio 2010, the normal text cursor is only a single pixel thin. That's often hard to find especially next to a background coloured block of code. Isn't there a way to finally make the cursor visible again and increase its width to 2 pixels?
I don't mean overwrite mode! I'm only talking about insert mode. (That's the closest match that a web search gave me, so there doesn't seem to be a single question about it yet. Which I find surprising.)
I'm not sure whether there's more appropriate subforums for this, but I couldn't check as the forum system is half-brokenagain (returning Internal Server Errors one level up, but I'm happy that it at least served me this part today).
