Ok just installed vs2013 (Ultimate).
Not customized anything at all – NEW install. NO upgrade from previous.
(Preference during install = Visual Basic).
When designing applications – say an asp web application. If you right click on a control in design view one of the choices is property sheet (Alt Enter). I think I used this short cut in most IDE's for close to 20 years.
However in 2013, this keyboard shortcut does not work anymore? Alt enter just gives a key board "beep". (I suspect the default setup now has the key sequence re-mapped).
The "global" setting in tools->options->environment
If I hit Alt+enter the Press shortcut keys box I set this for global
Global: ClassViewContextMenus.ClassViewMultiselectProjectreferencesItems.Properties (Ale Enter)
So the above "looks" ok and I believe is the correct default.
Regardless, while the right click by mouse and choosing Properties then of course the property sheet displays.
If I hit alt-enter, then all I get is a "beep".
I DO see that Visual Basic 6 additional keyboard mapping scheme is set.
However EVEN if I hit reset mappings, a simple hit of alt-enter key does not bring up the properties sheet when in design mode.
The fact that the mouse right click even "shows" Alt-Enter beside the property sheet much suggests this should still work.
Any suggestions on how to get my alt-Enter back in the vs2013 ide? This is the "standard" setting that been there for years and years.
